Join us May 12th to learn all about Redistricting. This workshop is designed for all levels, whether you are new to redistricting or have been working on it for years. This is NOT a webinar, it is an interactive workshop which will include a mix of presentations, panels and breakouts where you will learn with participants in your region. Please only register if you will be able to show up and participate fully in the small breakout sessions. If this date does not work for your schedule there will be a repeat of the convening on May 22.
The Redistricting Community College will include an Introduction, the Voting Rights Act, Community Mapping, Rules and Timelines, Providing Testimony and Improving Transparency, and Building Coalitions.
The CHARGE hub represents nine national organizations: Common Cause, State Voices, APIA Vote, League of Women Voters, Mi Familia Vota, NAACP, National Congress of American Indians, Center for Popular Democracy, and Fair Count. For more information about the hub or to receive updates, reach out to chargehub@statevoices.org
